Slightly split anaglypta, hand carved in NYC in the 19th century. Part of a library of 40,000 anaglypta acquired by Leslie Tillett in the 1970s. More than a great reward for supporting three great causes in NYC. With a bit of wood filler you can make your own madeleines in the form of funerary urns, or re-plaster your ceilings. 10" x10"
